About the artist: Jim ChristleyOriginally from western Pennsylvania Jim served in the US Navy aboard seven submarines from 1962 to 1982. After retiring he worked in the engineering field as a consultant then in 1999 he started a third career as an artist. Studying watercolor with noted watercolor artists Lou Bonamarte and Gerald Levey he learned the fundamentals of the craft. Bob Spring taught him the value of a looser style.
